We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new community outreach program, The Roosevelt Gives Back. For our first initiative, our dedicated residents, many of whom are retired teachers, came together with the support of The Roosevelt to raise over $1,100 in donations. These funds were used to purchase essential school supplies for District 45 Early Child Center students and families.
Our residents took great joy in filling backpacks with these supplies, knowing they would soon be in the hands of children and families at the Villa Park Area Early Childhood Collaborative’s Back-to-School Resource Fair.
We are proud to support this wonderful community event, the children, and their families. The Villa Park Area Early Childhood Collaborative is a fantastic initiative that brings together nonprofit and social service leaders, school district faculty, municipal government staff, and parents to provide vital resources and referrals to families with children aged 0-8 living in the Villa Park, Lombard, and Oakbrook Terrace communities.
At The Roosevelt at Salt Creek, we believe in the power of giving back and are excited to continue our efforts to support and uplift our community. Stay tuned for more updates on our upcoming initiatives!
